Breakfast Buffet at the Shangrila Hotel BGC

During my recent vacation in the Philippines I booked a breakfast buffet in one of the famous hotels in the metro which was Shangrila Bonifacio Global City . Foremost, because it was just basically near the hotel where I am booked at so accessibility wise it was just ideal.

The hotel begins their breakfast by around six in the morning so I left my place a bit earlier though there was no traffic along the way. Once you set foot in the hotel lobby, you would be greeted in awe by the imposing ornate chandelier that hangs regally from above. Likewise you would also be impressed by the carefully crafted carpet adorning the floor of the hotel lobby.

A few meters from the lobby, you would find the hotel's restaurant that is aptly called High Street Café. The hostess will usher you to your seat and explain a few details on how the buffet operates. Their breakfast costs around 1,500PHP net. It consists of a wide array of breakfast selections that will truly delight your tastebuds.

They have a freshly pressed fruit shooter bar where guests can help themselves of the daily healthy concoction of the shooter of the day or any fresh fruits selections  available.

I love their selections of breads and pastries especially their enseymada which tasted almost similar to that of Café Mary Grace. They were so generous with the quezo de bola.

This was my first time to try a very delicious beef tapa. The meat was  so tender and full of flavor. I can say that this is perhaps the best beef tapa I have tasted. They likewise have a very impressive selection of Asian breakfast staples like dimsum, paos, and other Chinese treats. But the piece de resistance in its Asian offerings would be the Laksa, an ethereal seafood broth screaming of utter goodness.

If you fancy a very extensive breakfast experience when you are in the Philippines, then Shangrila BGC is the place to be. Without batting an eyelash, the best breakfast buffet by far.
